Booking Terms & Conditions


User agreement between the user (customer) and Vallee Lake.

Please read these terms and conditions of use (Terms and Conditions) carefully before using this web site and making any booking.
You consent to the Terms and Conditions when you tick to accept them upon making a booking on this web site. If you disagree with any part of the Terms and Conditions you may not use this web site to make a booking. All booking enquiries should be sent to info@valleelake.com.


  • FISHERY RULES : All persons including guests are to read understand and agree by Vallee Lakes fishery rules.
  • RESERVATIONS : Holidays will be reserved /price guaranteed when we are in receipt of your deposit payment and the acceptance of these Booking Terms and Conditions.
  • PAYMENTS :  Deposit payments/instalments are non-refundable in the event of your cancellation. Your payment structure including amounts and due dates are outlined upon booking.
  • CANCELLATIONS : In any event you cancel your holiday you will be liable for : 
    - cancellation 8 weeks or more prior to your arrival date - fee is 50% of the holiday price.
    - cancellation less than 8 weeks prior to arrival date - fee is 100% of your holiday price. 
  • LODGES : We require 100 euro damage deposit upon arrival for both lodge and cabin bookings returnable on departure after satisfactory condition. You will be liable for any damages loss or excessive dirt etc.
  • HIRE EQUIPMENT :  We require 100 euro damage deposit upon arrival for hire equipment,  returnable on departure after satisfactory condition. You will be liable for any damages loss or excessive dirt etc.
  • INSURANCE :  We strongly advise that you arrange full travel insurance covering all medical costs, cancellations, work disruptions, personal items, public liability, vehicle breakdown/recovery and accidents. (we are not liable). 
  • PASSPORTS : It is your responsibility to ensure that all passports are valid for travel to France.
  • FORCE MAJEURE : We are not liable for any, personal work loss, illness, delay, cancellations of your travel, fire, flood, weather conditions, closure of ports, roads, borders, acts of gods, riots, 
       or any event beyond our control together with fish not feeding, weather conditions etc, lake being frozen, fish spawning, car breakdowns and invalid documentation.
  • LIABILITY : Under no circumstances shall our liability to you or your party exceed the amount you paid us for your holiday booking.
  • TERMINATION : We reserve the right to cancel your holiday and services in the event if we or our employees consider your behaviour unacceptable to person or damage to property, fish or other  and unsuitable equipment.
  • If you consider you that you have cause for complaint whilst in France, the complaint must be notified to our representative in the first instance. Unresolved complaints must be sent in writing to Vallee Lake Fishery, BP35, 76340, Blangy sur Bresle, France.
