After a stunning April , May saw water temperatures dropping unsettled weather and high pressure ! Water temperatures dropped from 20degrees at the end of April to around an average of 15degrees in May - this had an adverse effect on the spawnning with the fish stopping in their tracks .
Captures for May were down form April with a total of approx 3220 kg of fish banked which included over 27 40lb + fish with the biggest Carp going to Tom Williams at 53lbs , Tom also accounted for three other 40+ in the same session all comming out to Plum & Shellfish boilies .A stunning pure ORANGE unknown Koi at over 30lb was caught - How could we miss that ? Two other 50 + Mirrors were also accounted for in May .
