Located in upper Normandy, Vallee Lake is located close to the three major ferry ports of Dieppe, Bolougne and Calais, the closest
being only an hour away.
This makes Vallee lake the perfect location for both weekend and week stays. Just minutes from the town of Blangy-sur-Bresle, with its supermarket, shops and restaurants, Vallee Lake has everything for both the bivvy angler and for those who choose one of the beautiful bank side lodges.
Vallee Lake is a 12 acre lake set in a stunning, picturesque and tranquil location. Access is excellent around the lake to all the 10 large mature natural swims. There are varying depths throughout the lake with margins ranging from 3 – 8ft with the average depth throughout the lake being 7ft and the deepest of 12ft. Features include a good sized island, shallows, deep margins, plateau’s/ bars and overhanging trees.
The Facility block offers on site showers / toilets, with bait, tackle hire, drinks and snacks, together with freezer usage.
The Fish
The lake is rich in natural food with a rich silt / gravel bottom and holds a stock of over 5 tonne of carp, including mirrors, commons to over 60lb, grass carp to 50lb and catfish to over 70lb and sturgeon to over 75lbs , it makes for superb big carp fishing. Other species include Pike, Roach and Perch. There are no problem fish i.e. poisson chat, crayfish Bream etc. giving no reason to net your baits.
